Minister of Communications Yoaz Hendel visits innovative R&D center at Parallel Wireless in Kfar Saba

The Minister of Communications, Yoaz Hendel, visited the Israeli R&D center of the American company Parallel Wireless in Kfar Saba and received lots of information on how to upgrade advanced cellular infrastructure (from 2G, 3G, 4G and now 5th generation or 5G) at the push of a button with a software-based solution and bring progress to the periphery and all parts of the country.

During the minister’s visit, Baruch Navon, Senior Vice President of Parallel Wireless’ Global Development Manager, who also serves as the director of the Israeli R&D Center, announced that the company is currently recruiting approximately 100 new employees.

The Israeli R&D Center, which currently employs about 250 people, is developing a smart, software-based infrastructure for cellular networks, which is a global revolution in the way in which wireless networks are deployed and operated.

Parallel Wireless’ customers include the world’s leading telecom companies such as British Telecom, Vodafone, Telefonica (IpT), and more. The company has received over 80 awards for its innovative technology.
